You don't have to take a leap of faith, Just take that one little baby step

Have you asked yourself.. what if I can? what if my goals and my passions outweigh my fears? what if it doesn't end up as bad as I think inside my head?

All these what ifs are making us lose our utmost potential to be the best that we can be, to be the one God has made us for, to serve our purpose and make the most of our lives.

We should let go of these what-ifs or at least try to lessen them as much as we can.

But it's not that easy, you see, as we grow old and experience different hardships in our lives we tend to focus more on the negative side of what has happened. We tend to focus on the pain, the fear, the misery and all that negativity. And it's very hard for us to let go of these experiences as it occupies a large part of our brain, It's affecting the way we think towards our future and affecting the way we deal with life.

Why am I saying these you ask? Because like you, I'm in this situation of constant questions of what ifs. Every time there's an opportunity for me to live my life better I tend to step back and check my what if list. But you know what? Sometimes I actually cross those what-ifs, take a deep breath and see how it goes. And surprisingly enough, most of the time taking that one little step is actually worth it and I say to myself, Marvin good job and then I praise God and say thank you for giving me the wisdom I need to do what I have to do and appreciate life more as it is. 

Sometimes you don't have to take that huge leap of faith, you just have to take that one little baby step. One step at a time, one what-if at a time.
